We were asked to add space to this Federal-era farmstead in Vermont's ski country as the centerpiece of a family compound. At the same time, we converted the principal barn into a full-sized family dwelling. The project makes extensive use of handcrafted and antique materials to honor the building's weathered history. The result is a postcard-perfect Vermont farm.
