This renovation transformed a dated 1990s kitchen suite into a warm, light-filled centerpiece for everyday living. Once a narrow pass-through, the space lacked connection to the rest of the home and was devoid of natural light. We reconfigured the layout to open the kitchen to the backyard and establish a seamless flow between the dining room and sunroom. The design evokes a timeless, cottage-like sensibility, with details such as shiplap paneling and hand-shaped stone that lend depth, texture, and a sense of permanence.
